Terms of Service

Effective 29 July 2026 · These terms apply to the MediRemind app. Our general website terms and MediRemind privacy policy also apply.
MediRemind is a reminder tool, not a medical device.
It helps you keep track of your medicines. It does not replace your doctor, your pharmacist, or your own routine. Reminders depend on your phone — its battery, volume, notification settings and internet connection. They can be delayed or missed. Please do not rely on this app alone to take your medicines.

1. Who we are, and accepting these terms

MediRemind is provided by BlueBear Devs (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. When you first open the app you are asked to read and accept a short notice covering the same points, and your acceptance is recorded against your account. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. What MediRemind is

MediRemind is a personal reminder and record-keeping tool. You enter your medicines, doses and times; the app reminds you at those times and lets you record what you have taken.

MediRemind does not:

Nothing in the app should be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

3. Delivery of reminders

Reminders are delivered by your device and, where you enable them, by third-party services including Google and Amazon. Delivery depends on factors outside our control, including device settings, battery optimisation, operating system restrictions, notification permissions and network availability. We do not guarantee that any reminder will be delivered at a particular time, or at all.

4. Your responsibility

You remain responsible for taking your medicines as prescribed. You should maintain your own routine and must not rely solely on the app.

5. Information you enter

The app records what you enter. It does not verify dosages, schedules or medication names, and cannot detect an incorrect entry. Please check what you enter carefully and keep it up to date.

6. Caregiver access

You may approve a caregiver. Once approved, they can see your medications, dose history and emergency contacts. You can revoke this at any time from within the app. You are responsible for deciding who to approve.

7. Medical ID and emergency contacts

You may optionally store a Medical ID and emergency contacts, and choose to share a summary. This is information you provide and choose to share; we do not send it anywhere on your behalf unless you ask the app to.

8. Premium subscriptions

MediRemind offers an optional Premium subscription. Billing is handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store, and cancellation and refunds are handled by the relevant store under its own terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your store account.

9. Your account and deleting your data

You can delete your account and data from within the app, or by using our account deletion page. Deletion removes your medications, dose history, Medical ID and emergency contacts.

10. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend or withdraw features, and we may change these terms. Where a change is significant, we will ask you to accept the updated terms in the app. Continuing to use MediRemind after a change means you accept it.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.

Subject to the paragraph above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of MediRemind — including where a reminder is delayed or is not delivered.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
