You can permanently delete your MediRemind account and all of the data associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do this.
Option 1 — Delete from within the app (fastest)
- Open the MediRemind app and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Under Security, tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are removed immediately.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, email Hello@bluebear-devs.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify your request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your profile and sign-in credentials.
- All medications, schedules, and dose history.
- Your medical ID details and emergency contacts.
- Caregiver links associated with your account.
- Any cloud backups of your data.
- Smart speaker (Alexa / Google Home) linking tokens held for your account.
What is kept, and for how long
Once deletion completes, we do not retain your personal medication data. Routine encrypted system backups are cycled out within 30 days. We may retain minimal records only where required by law.
This cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, your medication
schedules, history and any linked-speaker settings are gone for good and cannot be recovered.
